Students in Grade 9 have been diligently working on an Inquiry Project, all inspired by the original cabinet of curiosities. Historically, cabinets of curiosities housed a marvelous collection of objects, often also known as wonder rooms. Their idea was to recreate this idea within the walls of BCISB.
Students started off this final project by creating their own essential questions inspired by any time period, event, or person in history. Then began the research. Some students delved deep into their family histories with Heritage projects, while others are exploring rebellions, witches, pirates, ancient Mesopotamia – whatever their passion was. This week they shared the fruits of their labour with the BCISB Community.
We listen to the results of their findings, gazed and marveled at their created artifacts, and were amazed!
